I love late and rich breakfasts at the weekend. But during the week there is never time for a healthy meal bevor leaving the house. The consequence is: arriving in the office one hour later I am almost starving. And then the only breakfast option is a croissant or bread roll…and ravenous hunger two hours later.

When I was a school kid my mum used to cook porridge for me from time. Since then I am a big fan of this creamy and warm breakfast. But cooking every morning? No option. So I came up with this idea. Already in the evening I mix together oats with coconut flakes and some dried fruits. In the morning I just fill everything up with hot milk, steer a bit and my perfect breakfast is ready. The good thing is that almost every oats-combination is possible. So it never gets boring and I have my warm “almost porridge” breakfast without any cooking.
